Details of this year’s Latin America conference have been announced, with themes including the struggle for democracy in Honduras, 50 years of the Cuban revolution and advancing social progress in Venezuela as well as militarisation & the US agenda and ‘Haiti – aid or occupation’.
A wide array of speakers from across Latin America will be joined by Brendan Barber, Seumas Milne, Salma Yaqoob, Prof. Ernesto Laclau and Jean Lambert MEP as well as Tony Benn, Victoria Brittain, Ken Livingstone and Sally Hunt. More will be added to the line-up over the next few months.
The conference will be followed by a social event: “Fiesta Latina” with live music, dancing and films.
